New BR@P and BR@S materials and training updates

The success of BR@P and BR@S is underpinned by the fact that  through both programmes, pupils learn to self-regulate and become independent readers. Specific prompts support meta-cognition and give them a framework for thinking. This term, Jan is running a series of, hour long, e-tutorials to share the most recent updates to the programmes. Two new resources, the BR Prompt Card Pack and BR Comprehension Bookmarks, make this cognitive framework even more explicit for Teaching Assistants and pupils alike.

During the e-tutorial, Jan will introduce the new materials and updates to both the training booklets and powerpoints. The cost is £40 which includes the revised Trainer Disc.

She is now offering small group tutorials on demand; arranged a at a mutually convenient time for participants. Prior to the tutorial you may want to buy a new training booklet (£20) and copies of the BR Prompt Card Pack and BR Comprehension Bookmarks (£6 each and £10, if bought together).
